The Community Initiatives Fund of Kahnawà:ke (CIF) would like to inform the community that the recipients for the second-round of funding have been chosen. In total, $393,852.00 was awarded to eleven (11) Community Projects, with 7 of those projects receiving 50% funding from the CIF and the remaining 50% matched by Kahnawake Shakotiia’takehnhas Community Services (KSCS).
“The CIF places a great deal of value on collaboration and we couldn’t be more thrilled that KSCS is co-funding 7 initiatives that align with their mission”, said coordinator Charleen Schurman. “We welcome the opportunity to discuss financial collaboration with other organizations and individuals interested in making an impact”.
